The INCLUSION2 conference (ME6) ran from 19 to 20 April 2024 at the historic Fort St Elmo in Valletta, Malta.
Project partners hosted attendees from Malta, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, the UK and the USA.
Dr Kenneth Vella, the principal of St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School in Paola (an INCLUSION2 partner) welcomed delegates and opened the learning festival. Dr Julian Ng set the tone for the 2 days by challenging delegates with key trends in work and education that are influencing decisions and teaching. The INCLUSION2 project was introduced by key partner members, with each deliverable explained clearly.
In line with the idea of co-creation, the whole event was workshop-led with only a few straightforward presentations. The remainder of the two days were focused on hands-on sessions where participants could co-create knowledge to solve specific problems. The INCLUSION2 team debuted publicly some of the key building blocks as well.
Feedback was very positive and the experiential nature of the workshop meant that there was ample for networking, co-working and developing friendships.
