The first Transnational meeting for the Erasmus+ funded project Inclusion2 happened in Malta between the 16th and 18th of May 2022. This gathering served as Kick-Off Meeting for the Project, with the Partners discussing the aims of the project and the Outputs that they have set on achieving.
The first day of the Meeting served as an opportunity for the Partners to introduce themselves to one another, and to start sharing their practices. During the second day, the Maltese Minister for EU Funds Dr Chris Bonett, visited the meeting venue to discuss the opportunity for growth with regards to inclusion and diversity that these funds can provide the education system with. The partners then discussed plans and timelines with regards to achieving the project results. Former Minister Evarist Bartolo joined the group to discuss the Maltese Educational system and shed light on the current situation. On the third day, the group visited MCAST and learnt about the vocational courses that this institution provides. It discussed the policies on inclusion and diversity with the Head of Department for the Well Bing Hub Mr John Bartolo.
On the final afternoon, the meeting participants visited Mater Boni Consiglii St Joseph School. Here an interactive session was held with educators from all the participating countries through a hybrid meeting.
